Activity Streams is an extension to the Atom feed format to express what people are doing around web. Mate1 Launches datedaily Blog – New Dating Site and Facebook Application Coming Soon
October 14th, 2009 by David EvansOver the years I’ve advised a number of clients to launch blogs which are tightly integrated with their dating sites. Traffic driving, SEO and branding are just some of the benefits. For some reason this concept has not taken hold at many dating sites. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the new Mate1 blog, datedaily , has a section called Hottie of the Week , which displays a member profile photo and a link to the profile on Mate1. Smart move, exactly what I envisioned. Liz Wasserman and her team are showing that they understand how to reach potential members, promote existing ones and create additional marketing channels to drive traffic to Mate1.
